Today's post is an example of what Laura & I worked on in our intern meeting today. This semester Laura is interning with Kasey K. Photo for credit for Carroll University's Communication Program. One of the skills Laura was interested in learning was the photo editing process. Today we spent our meeting working on this lovely image of Leeyah from her recent First Communion Portrait Session with Kasey K. Photo in Milwaukee. As you can see there are subtle changes, removing stray hairs, shadows, cropping in, brightening eyes, and color corrections. These details & editing skills are what set apart a good photograph from a great one. Laura did a GREAT job today! :)
Next, Laura would like to learn more technical information about professional cameras & how to take an amazing portrait! She will be assisting on a few shoots in the next couple weeks too! :)
